Sarah Heuermann, Dance Instructor
Sarah Heuermann began dancing when she was two at City Center, then moved to Cumming Dance Academy in second grade. She trained at CDA from that point until she graduated! Miss Sarah is a proud CDA alum. She began as an assistant in the 7th grade at CDA. Sarah then moved on to complete our Teacher Training program under Miss Nikki Veillon-Matthews. She is trained in Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Lyrical, Jazz, Pom, Contemporary, Lyrical, and Musical Theatre! In middle school, Sarah made her school's dance team and began performing at basketball games. Once graduated from middle school, she continued her dance experience at Forsyth Central High School with the Dance Dawgs. She performed during halftime at Basketball games, and was a member of the competitive dance team. That year her team placed First Overall at Regionals, and Second in state with their Jazz and Pom routines. Sarah has loved every second of her time at CDA and specifically when she became an assistant - and now instructor. Sarah is a graduate of Forsyth Central High School with Academic High Honors and is continuing her education in the fall at the University of North Georgia. She is working towards her masters degree in Speech Language Pathology. Sarah is beyond excited to continue working with CDA and her students!
