dance instructor & social media content
Emma Coley started dancing at Cumming Dance Academy when she was just 3 years old and truly grew up in the studio. She trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and hip hop, and was a CDA Company member for 7 years. One of the most impactful parts of her journey was being part of Miss Niki’s Elite Performance Class, where her love for being on stage really came to life. Over the years, she’s had the opportunity to compete, perform, and assist in classes with dancers as young as preschool all the way through CDA’s Mini Company. Every step of her dance journey has happened at CDA, and it’s where her passion for dance and heart for leading others really began to grow.
This is Emma's 4th year teaching at CDA and her 18th year overall with the studio. She graduated from Forsyth Central High School in 2022 and is currently taking online classes at Kennesaw State University, majoring in Communications. Along with teaching dance, Emma is also very involved at Free Chapel, where she’s had the opportunity to intern in children’s ministry, serve weekly at youth, work with the preschool, and dance/perform in their large-scale productions and conferences.
Emma’s faith is the foundation of everything she does. Whether she’s in the studio or at church, her heart is to create a space where kids feel truly loved. She’s passionate about helping young dancers grow, not just in their technique, but in their character and purpose too. She’s so grateful for the opportunity to keep pouring into this next generation and to continue being a part of the CDA family she loves so much.
