CDA offers many different performance opportunities! For our non-competitive dancers, we offer several different Performance Groups. These are particularly great for those dancers who want a little more than the weekly technique classes but aren’t quite ready for the commitment of a competition team. Our Performance Groups perform locally at community events, at the annual Jazz on Tap festival, and at several major league sporting events throughout the season.

This ELITE and North ELITE Performance Groups are one of our most popular performing teams. The programs are designed as a Company-prep class that is open to all students, grades 2nd-5th who are enrolled in the 3 principle technique classes of Ballet, Tap, and Jazz. Students enrolled in the Performance Class will learn intense choreography taught at a fast pace and have the opportunity to perform at many community events throughout the dance season. This class focuses on the dancer’s ability to quickly retain choreography and emphasizes through actual performance experience the importance and thrill of performing in front of live audiences!  These dancers perform around the community as well as several major league ballgames throughout the season.
