Emma Southerland, Dance Instructor

Emma Southerland, started dancing at age 9 at Cumming Dance Academy. Emma has been trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Pom, and Hip Hop. She has competed with the Forsyth Central High School’s Dance Dawgs for two years. Placing first place in Pom and Jazz both years at UDA (Universal Dance Association) Georgia State Championships. Emma is excited to bring the passion and love for dance to other students at the studio where she began her love for dance. Emma is currently a senior in college at the University of North Georgia to pursue a degree in Elementary and Special Education. She is passionate about creating a learning environment catered to the individual needs of her students and build their confidence.

Emma is heading into her 4th year as an instructor with CDA!
