Megan Tankersley, Studio Manager, Company Director & Dance Instructor
Megan Tankersley began dancing at a young age at The Woodstock School of Ballet. She auditioned and joined the company Cherokee Ballet Theatre during her high school years. While in the company, she trained in ballet, pointe, modern, tap, and jazz. As a member of the company she also performed "The Nutcracker" for several years. Along with dance, she performed and choreographed many school and community plays while in high school. Megan graduated Cum Laude from Brenau University with a Liberal Studies degree with a concentration in theatre and dance. As a dance major at Brenau, she had the opportunity to study under Vincas Greene, Jolie Long, Carol Smiarowski, Alyssa Maddox, Matthew Rose from the Mark Morris Dance Group, and Gladys Balin-Stern from Alwin Nikolais. While in college, Megan was a member of the Brenau Dance Ensemble and performed in numerous Senior Thesis Dance Concerts and musicals with the Gainesville Theatre Alliance. Now, she is currently choreographing for CDA, local high schools, and community theatres where she gets the opportunity to educate and inspire her students through the arts of dance and theatre. Megan lives in Alpharetta with her husband Neil and their Boston terrier "Baxter."

Nikki Veillon, Dance Instructor
A Califonia native, Nikki began her dance training in ballet and tap at the early age 3. She found her passion for dance and teaching during her later years as she studied under Judith Aaen of the Houston Ballet. She was fortunate enough to also train under many well known artistic directors as she attended intensive apprentice programs at Milwaukee, Philadelphia, Ballet Pacifica, and Joffrey Ballets. She also received scholarships to Ballet West, Pacific Northwest, Boston, and Miami Ballet Schools. Nikki is well trained in classical ballet, as well as tap, jazz, hip hop, and praise dance. At age 14, she started assisting classes and has continued to teach and choreograph. Besides being a student and teacher, her dance troupe danced in the Miss California Pageant for 2 years. She has a degree in Fine Arts from Orange Coast College. In the last 8 years she has taught various classes at local churches to children of all ages. With a strong focus on technique, she instills the passion, awareness and excitement of dance. Nikki is dedicated to inspiring her students to work to their fullest potential and developing in them, a love for the art of dance and the magic of movement.
